Just like what I did in my Donsol Legaspi Tour, I will be posting my plan for my Dumaguete Tour this Nov. 30 – Dec. 2, 2007. Maybe I would just like to share readers here on how a solo traveler plans for the trip.
Ok, here is the detail:
DUMAGUETE TOUR PLAN
NOV 30 (SAT)
7 AM – Depart from Manila Domestic Airport
9 AM – Arrive Dumaguete. Commute to town. Find motorcycle rental.
10 AM – Travel to Antulang by motorcycle
12 NN – ETA Antulang. Find lodging. Lunch.
1 PM – Antulang Beach Tour. Snorkel. Beach.
7 PM – Dinner
DEC 1 (SUN)
6 AM – Breakfast
7 AM – Check out. Travel to Malatapay or Dauin (motorcycle).
8 AM – ETA Malatapay or Dauin. Buy packed lunch.
9 AM – Start Apo Island Tour. Find safe parking. Find public boat.
10 AM – At Apo Island, take Lunch. Snorkel. Beach.
3 PM – Find public boat back to Malatapay or Dauin.
4 PM – Travel to Dumaguete by motorcycle
6 PM – ETA Dumaguete. Find lodging.
7 PM – Dinner
8 PM – Town tour. Return motorcycle rental.
DEC 2 (MON)
6 AM – Breakfast
7 AM – Commute to Dumaguete Airport
8 AM – Depart from Dumaguete Airport
10 AM – Arrive Manila Domestic Airport
ESTIMATED EXPENSES

AIRFARE RT = 2,500 (Promo)
AIRPORT T. FEE = 300 (Manila & Dumaguete)
DUMAGUETE AIRPORT – TOWN, RT = 20 (Tricycle)
MOTORCYCLE RENTAL = 600 (2d x 300)
GASOLINE = 100 (30km/li x 60km x 50P/li)
MOTORCYCLE PARKING AT MALATAPAY = 50 (just a guess)

ANTULANG ENTRANCE FEE = 200 (just a guess)
APO ISLAND ENTRANCE FEE = 150
APO ISLAND LIFE VEST RENTAL = 75
BOAT FARE TO APO ISLAND, RT = 600 (based on sputnik’s post)

Hi Owen. Just want to clarify, RT fare sa Apo Island is P460 or P600? Kasi akala ko P2000 per boat don. Where did you get these rates? 🙂
this post was my travel plan. i think iba ang actual na nangyari – sumabay ako sa dive boat going to apo island. the P600 was based on a travel blog (by sputnik) i read.
I see. So how much po nagastos nyo sa boat papunta Apo Island?
cant really recall anymore… but dive boat share rate ranges from 300 to 500 pesos per person. btw i did not went to apo island by boat on the actual trip. i just went along the divers which happen to stop at apo island waters.
